OUR ANNUAL EVENT - Saturday 17th September 2011
Our annual talent showcase takes place in the Hackney Empire on September 17th. As always it promises to be exciting afternoon for all the family. It is also one of the borough’s peace week event in which we remember all those who have lost their lives through gun and knife crimes. It is also an afternoon when the community comes together as one to condemn the violence that has taken so many of our young over the years. The event consists of young people from the borough and all over London showing their talent in dancing, singing, spoken word and drama.
This year however we have a special treat for everyone, there will be prizes and surprises. And remember admission is free. Keep checking our website for more information.
If you would like to take part come along to one of our four auditions dates Wednesday June 27th, Friday July 1st, Wednesday 13th July and Friday 15th July 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
All auditions will take place at Hackney Free and Parochial Secondary School in Paragon Road Hackney just off Mare Street near to Hackney Town Hall.
JOB FAIR - May/June 2011
This year brings new and exciting challenges for the foundation. We need to continue to grow and it is extremely important for us to continue to facilitate, encourage and support training of young people with the ultimate goal of entering the world of employment. With this in mind, we will continue with our job fair in June and our summer courses in fashion design, film production and basic motor vehicle technology.
